The Classical Greek System: An Analysis of Strengths and Weaknesses
This nine page undergraduate paper examines the strengths and weaknesses of ancient Greece. The author notes that it is evident from studying ancient Greek history, government, and philosophy that systemic weaknesses eventually destroyed ancient Greece despite the many strengths of the system. Athens, Sparta, Thebes, and the other city-states may have shared common cultural traditions but they were never truly united politically.
