Inter-Faith Criticism: An Engagement with Judaism, Zoroastrianism and Buddhism.
This paper will discuss the worldview of this Zoroastrian critic of Judaism as it is featured in his critique of the Biblical story of "Genesis". It will be seen that the fundamental basis of his questioning of Jewish teaching in this regard is closely associated with Zoroastrian speculation upon the nature of evil and the creation of the world. To balance this critique, some probably responses to these criticisms by those adhering to the Jewish tradition will be offer. Finally, this debate will be examined in the context of a third belief system - Buddhism - upon which some closing remarks will be made as to the epistemological issues that have been raised by this debate. 7 pgs. 11 f/c. 4b.
