Catholicism and Homosexuality: An Analysis of Change
This eleven-page undergraduate paper examines Catholicism and homosexuality and analyzes what changes have been occurring in American Catholicism regarding this issue. The author notes that it is becoming evident that the Catholic Church is changing, especially in the United States, for many priests are disturbed when they see lesbian and gay people being punished for being true to their nature and for simply being homosexual in orientation, and are actively advocating reforms. But higher authorities in the Church are resisting change, and are likely to continue to do so.
