This ten-page undergraduate research paper examines and analyzes whether United Nations peacekeeping is a growth industry or a dead end. The past history of UN peacekeeping is discussed, as are current attitudes towards the policy. The paper concludes that UN peacekeeping efforts are likely to continue because no other practical alternatives are available, but that reforms of the present UN peacekeeping system are needed. 10 pgs.
