Philosophical Analysis: Sophies World by Jostein Gardner
This paper will review and philosophically analyze "Sophie's World" by Jostein Gardner. By understanding the philosophical premise of Sophie's quest to find Hilde, she ultimately uses philosophy to help guide her through the obstacles that prevent her from finding her friend. In this manner, Gardner uses a historical context to help define philosophical theories from Plato to Locke.
