This paper will discuss why language is a means to communicate and nothing more. By understanding the limitations of language in the world, we can see how its subject matter might influence decisions in certain ways, as opposed a way to communicate that can actually manipulate the way people think. In other words, it a tool that can be used to show what a culture thinks, but does not necessarily hold dominion over how people think. Basically, language should be used for communication only, and extended language such as poetry, and other fanciful approaches to language only serve to halt the communication process.
