Economic Growth in India: The Role of Human Capital and Education.
This paper will take a look at the effects India's human capital has on its longer-term prospects for economic development. By looking at the importance of education and human capital within the broader process of economic development itself, it can be concluded that India's prospects are almost directly linked with its stock of human power. There is clear evidence suggesting that the country's poorest are in fact getting poorer and that the inequalities and cleavages in the country are even closer to rupturing than in the past.
