This five page paper looks at three areas of the ancient world, Greece, Egypt and Sumeria. Through this it looks at how the struggle for power has been adapted within the city state to bring about works of art or structural design. examples include the Parthenon, Pyramids at Giza and the Ziggurat at the Sumerian city of Ur. The paper also looks at how empires fall througnh their overuse of power.
