Historical Analysis: Debating Communication and Capitalism In the Causes for World War I
In this paper we have examined the arguments surrounding Lenins idea of capitalism as the source of the First World War, but we have learned through the Willy-Nicky letters and the Crisis in the Balkans that diplomacy was the real cause of ineffectual communication between world leaders. By understanding the geo-political climate of the era before World War I, we can surely see why poor communication was the reason for the Austrian invasion in international politics, and well as the complete lack of proper information by the Austrian embassy to communicate their reasons for entering Serbia.
