A Literary Analysis of Cry, the Beloved Country by Alan Paton
This paper will reflect the nature of racism in South Africa through the novel Cry, the Beloved by Alan Paton. By understanding the simplistic language that abounds in this book, we can realize how the Zulu peoples have been degraded by the British, and are not allowed a voice in any capacity. By realizing the limited education of Kumalo's people, we can realize how they are racially subjugated in South African culture.
